Pearls need to be taken care of to keep them in the best condition possible, please follow these guidelines

Store in the box they arrived in or a soft jewellery pouch

Use a soft cotton cloth to remove any traces of hairspray or perfume

Don't let pearls come into contact with chemicals, so remove before dishwashing and other housework

Apply perfume and hairspray before putting the pearls on

Avoid wearing your pearls in swimming pools or spas

Avoid humidity where possible

Store away from direct sunlight
